Its a real good, solid piece. If I were to critique it, the only real areas I might critique is the blood layer (which appears very much like a layer in this case) and maybe the foreground wrist, which seems much more hashy and vague in a way that the rest of the piece doesn't carry. Below the belt line, the blood doesn't share a relationship with the suggested shapes and colors of the items it is coating, and you're kind of moving down to a more stylized section where you seem to be embracing the 2 dimensionality of your medium--which I like--but it feels more hastily done and the transition doesn't seem resolved. There's no middle ground between 'conforms to the figure' and 'platter on painting' which I would like to see. I don't know why I mention it. I don't generally comment on illustrations. I really like this work. I hope my comments can be helpful.
